Austin Tippett

Austin Tippett is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as an Associate Director at Cognizant since October 2023. Previously, Tippett held multiple roles at IronNet, culminating in a position as Senior Cyber Threat Hunter, where leadership in the Detections department and a focus on network traffic detections marked significant contributions. Prior experience includes roles at Quantum Research International as a Cyber Security Threat Intelligence Analyst, Deloitte as a Cyber Security Consultant, Aerodyne Industries as a Cyber Incident Responder, and Boecore, Inc. as both a Cyber Incident Responder and Network Design Engineer. Tippett holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from The University of Alabama in Huntsville.
