Jay Cadmus

Jay Cadmus is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications and public relations across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Associate Director at Cognizant, Jay leads internal and executive communications for the Global Sales Operations organization. Previously, Jay held various senior roles at IBM, where responsibilities included managing external relations and developing comprehensive media strategies, resulting in thousands of media placements. As President and Chief Visionary Officer at 550 Communications Group, Jay specializes in freelance communications consultancy, advising clients on brand media relations, internal communications, and issues management. Jay's early career included positions in journalism and communications at Dresser-Rand, GE Energy, and other organizations, demonstrating a strong foundation in effective communication practices. Jay holds a BA in English with a focus on Communications Writing from Binghamton University and an AS in Communications from SUNY Ulster.
