Lestter Cruz Serrano, M.D., BCMAS, currently serves as the Head of Global Medical Affairs at Cognizant, where responsibilities include overseeing global medical strategy and initiatives since February 2019. Prior to this role, Lestter held positions such as Global Medical Affairs Director and Medical Advisor at the same company. Lestter's experience also includes serving as the Head of the Hematology and Oncology NIH Cooperative Group at CHI from August 2018 to February 2019 and as Medical Service Team Lead at Celerion in mid-2018. From November 2015 to July 2018, Lestter contributed to clinical research in the Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism as well as Geriatrics, Gerontology, and Palliative Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Lestter holds a medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara and a certification as a Medical Affairs Specialist from the ACMA.
