Samrat Basu

Samrat Basu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the consulting and technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President at Cognizant since January 2015, Samrat previously held the position of Associate Partner at IBM from February 2006 to January 2015. Earlier career milestones include a managerial role at Deloitte Consulting from 1999 to 2005, a consultant position at PriceWaterhouse Coopers in 1996-1997, and serving as a Design Engineer at Development Consultants from August 1993 to April 1996. Samrat holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (1997-1999) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University (1989-1993), complemented by a high school diploma in Computer Science from Don Bosco (1977-1989).
