Sanjay Sarma

Sanjay Sarma is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Consumer Practice for the CPG and TTH segments at Cognizant since January 2009, managing key accounts on the East Coast. Previously, Sanjay held the role of Associate Vice President and Head of Travel & Hospitality Business Unit, where significant digital transformation initiatives were executed in collaboration with strategic hospitality customers. Sanjay's career at Cognizant began as an Account Manager and Project Delivery Manager, overseeing various accounts and ensuring quality project execution. Prior to Cognizant, Sanjay was a Business Development and Project Manager at Tata Consultancy Services, where contributions were made in expanding service offerings and driving resourcing initiatives. Sanjay holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Stream with specialization in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering Trivandrum, celebrated as University Valedictorian and awarded the Best Outgoing Student by IIE.
