Shahram Jalaliniya

Shahram Jalaliniya, Ph.D., currently serves as a Principal Architect in the Insurance Solutions Group at Cognizant since May 2022, while also holding a Professorship at Centennial College since November 2018. With prior experience as an Enterprise Architect at Co-operators and as a Professor at Seneca College, Shahram has a rich academic background, including a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Malmö University focusing on context-aware systems and Internet of Things solutions. Shahram's earlier research includes gaze interaction at the Technical University of Denmark and interaction technology for wearable computers during a PhD fellowship at IT University of Copenhagen. Shahram has also held leadership roles in enterprise architecture at Pars Infotech and Information Systems Iran, along with a foundational technical background in IT project management. Shahram’s educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and Master's degree from IT University of Copenhagen, coupled with additional degrees from Lund University and Sharif University of Technology.
