Suchetana Gupta

Suchetana Gupta, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Associate Projects at Cognizant, beginning in July 2024. Previously, Suchetana held the position of Bioinformatics Engineer at Clovertex from April 2023 to June 2024, where leadership was demonstrated as a Subject Matter Expert on cryoEM data analysis projects for US-based pharmaceutical clients and an in-house automation project on AWS. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Scholar role at the Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact at the University of Oregon from August 2021 to April 2023, focusing on peptide folding energy landscapes for therapeutic applications, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science from January 2020 to January 2021. Suchetana earned a Ph.D. in Computational Biophysics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and holds multiple degrees in Bioinformatics and Biotechnology. Additional experience includes freelance writing for e-learning and content creation for diverse platforms.
