Vinay Punnam is an experienced data professional currently serving as an Associate Data Scientist at Cognizant since November 2025. Previously, Vinay worked at VOZIQ AI from November 2021 to October 2025, starting as a Junior Data Analyst and progressing to Data Scientist, where responsibilities included building and maintaining predictive models, analyzing and visualizing enterprise customer data, creating dashboards and reports, and performing ad hoc analyses using Excel and SQL. Vinay's career began as a Technical Author at Sonovision Aetos – Ortec Group in early 2020. Vinay holds a Postgraduate Degree in Data Science from the International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore and a Bachelor of Technology in Aeronautics from Hindustan University.
