Carl Sadowsky has held a variety of roles in the medical field since 1980. Carl began their career as an Attending Neurologist at Palm Beach Neurology in 1980. In 1981, they became the Director at PREMIER CLINICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE, INC. Carl then held the positions of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Professor at Nova Southeastern University from 2000 to 2014. In 2004, they joined the Board of Directors at the Alzheimer's Association\u00ae. In 2010, they became a Scientific Review Board Member at the Alzheimer's Drug Discovery Foundation. In 2014, they joined the Editorial Board Member at JSM Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementia. In 2015, they became the Director at NEUROLOGY RESEARCH INSTITUTE, LLC. In 2016, they became an Advisory Board Member at Alzheon, Inc. | Preserving Future Memories and the Chairman Safety Monitoring Committee at Paraxel Pharmaceutical. Since 2012, they have been the Chief Medical Officer at Cognoptix, leading the team in clinical trial development, regulatory submission and reimbursement strategy for Sapphire. During their tenure, they completed the \u201cbreakthrough\u201d designation application with FDA to gain early approval for Cognoptix Sapphire system and reviewed the \u201cOptimization Study\u201d comparing Sapphire to visual and quantitative PET amyloid imaging.

Carl Sadowsky obtained their Doctor of Medicine - MD degree from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University in 1971. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Biology, General from Stony Brook University in 1967. Carl also obtained certifications from the American Society of Neuroimaging Inc in 1989, the American Academy of Neurology in 1985, the American Medical Electroencephalographic Association in 1980, the State of Florida in 1979, the Florida State Department of Professional Regulation in 1979, the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1977, the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1974, the National Board of Medical Examiners in 1972, and the State of Vermont in 1972.
