George Ellis

George Ellis has over three decades of experience in technology and management roles, currently serving as a Senior Manager in Application Integration at Cognos Inc since May 1994. Previous positions at Cognos include Director of the Middleware Program, Chief Architect in IS&T, and Manager of Enterprise Infrastructure Services. Prior to joining Cognos, George held managerial roles at Montreal Trust and Bombardier Aerospace, focusing on technology integration and network planning. George's early career included academic positions in anthropology at several universities and consulting at Thorne, Stevenson & Kellog. Educationally, George earned a PhD in Physical Anthropology from the University of Toronto, supplemented by an MA in Biological Anthropology and a BA Honours in Anthropology & Sociology from McGill University.
