Una Acton

Having started in 1998, Una’s been here since the beginning. She’s the glue that keeps the office running seamlessly, which lets the rest of the team focus on delivering great client work without having to worry about the state of our IT systems. She also manages the finances, and has taken on greater HR responsibility. She’s gained her CIPD qualification now, and wants to take that on further.

Before Cognosis, Una worked for a commercial property company as a marketing assistant. She handled specific activities, PR, corporate events and hosting, skills that have all been really helpful since joining us.

Una’s passion for wine takes her tasting at events and vineyards here and abroad. She’s recently started a formal training course for wines & spirits, in the hopes of one day owning her own store, maybe even a vineyard! Otherwise, you’ll see her adding chillies to almost everything she cooks for families and friends, or getting the yoga mat out of the cupboard.
