Yannick Young

Yan has been with Cognosis since 2013. He’s worked across a number of the firm’s key clients and managed large projects with some of the world’s leading drinks companies and government bodies, including work on brand positioning and board effectiveness. Internally, he keeps us on the straight and narrow by leading resource management across the firm, as well as intern recruitment.

After achieving a first at the University of Oxford, he was awarded the Fung Scholarship for a study programme at Hong Kong University and subsequently completed an internship at Ernst & Young, which gave him a greater understanding of how businesses work.

As well as exploring Southeast Asia and Latin America, Yan often visits the USA, where he once worked as a professional fly-fishing guide. While he’s yet to teach anyone from Cognosis, he’s the man to ask if you need somewhere to eat – his in-depth knowledge of London’s restaurant scene is impressive.
