Matthew Tate

Matthew Tate has worked in various roles since 2009. Matthew began their career as a Production Manager at Renew World Outreach in 2009. From 2014 to 2016, Tate worked as a Product Test Engineer Intern at Renew World Outreach. In 2016, they worked as a Product Engineer Intern at Texas Instruments. In 2017, Tate worked as a Research Technician at the Georgia Institute of Technology and as a Product Test Engineer Intern at Renew Outreach, LLC. Matthew also designed a script using Python to automate bulk battery capacity and power profile testing with the West Mountain Radio CBA IV, and created a mobile data logging unit using Python, a Raspberry Pi, and a DAQCplate daughterboard. Since 2018, Tate has worked as a Research Engineer at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Cognosos, Inc.

Matthew Tate obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2014 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Engineering from Georgia State University Perimeter College between 2011 and 2014. In September 2017, they were awarded the Cooke Scholar certification from the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation.
