Aracely Cruz, CHRL, CHRP has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources. Aracely began their career in 2000 as Office Manager at PSTG Consulting, where they reported to the President and CFO and supervised office activities to achieve maximum expense control and productivity. Aracely also coordinated recruiting and hiring processes. In 2003, Aracely moved to RLDatix as Human Resources Director, where they reported to the President and CEO and managed a broad range of HR functions, including payroll administration, personnel file management, HR policy development, employee screening/hiring/orientation, and staff training/development programs, incentive/recognition programs, performance management process and team building events. In 2020, Aracely joined PCI Geomatics as Human Resources Senior Manager, where they reported to the President and CEO and managed full spectrum of HR programs, translated business vision into HR initiatives that improved performance, profitability and employee engagement. Most recently, Aracely joined Cognota in 2022 as Vice President People Ops and Culture, where they report to the CEO and is part of the Management Team. Aracely is on a mission to take the HR Operations to the next level by building and executing the People programs across the organization (Canada, US, Mexico and Nigeria) as they continue to grow and scale. Cognota is certified as a Great Place to Work\u00ae.

Aracely Cruz, CHRL, CHRP has a diverse educational background. Aracely completed a Human Resources Management degree from George Brown College from 2004-2007. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In addition to their formal education, Aracely also holds a number of certifications. These include First Aid for Mental Health from St. John Ambulance Ontario (obtained in April 2018), Certificate in Workplace Investigations from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association (obtained in February 2018), The Osgoode Certificate in HR Law for HR Professionals from Osgoode Hall Law School (obtained in May 2017), and Workers Safety Certification- Level 1 and 2 completed from Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) (obtained in September 2007).
