Nick Gmernicki

Nick Gmernicki has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2009, they worked at CitiMortgage, Inc. as an FHA/FNMA Claims Specialist and BP&A Analyst, where they focused on reporting, analysis, and claims submission for foreclosed properties. In 2012, they joined the United States Marine Corps as a GMF Satellite Communications Operator, where they managed maintenance, procured equipment, and improved unit readiness. Following their military service, Nick worked at GCI General Communication, Inc. as a Business Intelligence Analyst, utilizing SQL and Excel for data analysis and system improvements. Nick then joined Cohen & Company, first as an IT/Audit Intern and later as a Senior in the Technology Advisory Services, where they provided technology-related consulting services. Currently, Nick is a Digital Asset Data Specialist at Cohen & Company. Nick'sexperience includes roles in technical analysis, project management, and data handling.

Nick Gmernicki completed their Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Towson University between 2016 and 2019. Nick'sfield of study was Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Data Analytics degree from West Virginia University from 2023 to 2024. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2016 from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business in March 2017, and Network+ and Security+ certifications from CompTIA in August 2014.
