Roy Lim

Roy Lim has diverse work experience in event planning and marketing. Roy is currently working at Cohere as a Marketing Events Manager, focusing on developer and enterprise events. Prior to this, they were a Project Manager at Meta's Reality Labs AR Developer Ecosystem, where they managed Spark AR Studio and Spark AR Hub.

From 2020 to 2021, Roy worked at Sky Premium International Pte Ltd as a Senior Event Marketing Executive, leading a team responsible for planning and executing digital and physical B2C and B2B events. Before that, they served as an Events Manager at 1855 F&B Pte Ltd.

Roy's professional journey also includes experiences as a Conference Event and Marketing Intern at GIS Group and as an Events and Public Relations Executive at Mercury Marketing & Communications Pte. Ltd.

Early in their career, Roy worked at Resorts World Sentosa, where they had two roles. Initially, they were involved in park operations and tour services at the Marine Life Park. Roy then transitioned to the role of Event Coordinator, where they contributed to the coordination of various events.

Throughout their career, Roy has demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and creativity in managing events and marketing campaigns.

Roy Lim attended the Singapore Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2018 and obtained a BA (Hon) degree in Hospitality Business with a minor in Meetings, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition. In addition to their degree, Roy Lim has obtained several certifications, including the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines from WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust in April 2021. Roy also holds an Advanced Certificate in Team Leadership from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, which they obtained in September 2014. Furthermore, they have completed the TH-RM-101C-1 WORK SAFELY certification in April 2012 and the TH-SM-101C-0 INTERACT WITH GUESTS certification in August 2010, both from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency.
