Darrell J. Stinson

Darrell J. Stinson, CISSP, CEH has extensive work experience in the field of IT security and compliance. Prior to their current role as VP, IT & Security at Cohere Health starting in 2023, they served as the Director of Security and Compliance at Wrapbook from August 2021 to August 2023. In this role, they directed, coordinated, and implemented security controls and compliance requirements across the organization, ensuring adherence to privacy standards.

Before that, from March 2018 to July 2021, Darrell held the positions of Vice President, Global Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Security and Compliance at MacStadium. During their tenure, they ensured the security of physical, virtual, and digital company assets across multiple data centers and offices. Darrell J. also addressed security operations, incident response, and infrastructure for security projects, staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

From March 2015 to March 2018, Darrell worked at ExamWorks as the IT Security Manager and IT Security Engineer. Darrell J. managed a team of security engineers and compliance experts supporting data centers and offices worldwide. Additionally, they collaborated with various stakeholders to define security requirements and risk approaches.

Finally, Darrell has previous work history in various roles, including Information Security Analyst, Information Systems Manager, System Administrator, Electronics Technician, Instructor, and Computer/Automated Systems Repairer. These roles spanned from 2000 to 2015 and provided him with a diverse range of experiences in the IT and security domains.

Darrell J. Stinson, CISSP, CEH has a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and Information Systems Security from South University, obtained in 2013. Before that, they had earned an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology from the same university in 2010. Darrell J. also holds additional certifications such as MITRE ATT&CK DefenderTM, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and Certified Ethical Hacker. Darrell J. has obtained various certifications in domains like cryptography, security strategy, and server+. Additionally, they have achieved multiple successful company certifications in areas such as HITRUST, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, Sarbanes Oxley, and System and Organization Controls.
