William Wykoff has over 17 years of experience in the software engineering field. William is currently working as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Cohere Technology Group since July 2022. Before that, they worked at Harris Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer from May 2015 to August 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at Exelis as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer from April 2012 to May 2015. William'searliest work experience was at Thales Communications, where they held multiple roles as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, and Associate Embedded Software Engineer. During their time at Thales Communications, they worked on various projects, including porting a software communications architecture compatible waveform and designing the Human Machine Interface for a JTRS radio system. William has experience in programming using C++, developing in a dual compilation environment, and adding AES encryption to a public radio system.
William Wykoff attended Penn State Erie, The Behrend College from 2000 to 2005 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Additionally, from 2000 to 2004, they also studied Computer Engineering at Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus, earning a BS degree.
