Rémy Dorflinger

Rémy Dorflinger has a diverse work experience in the insurance and technology industry. Rémy began their career as a Chef de Projets at AXA Technology Services in 2003 and worked there until 2008. During this time, they also served as a Black Belt, managing multiple Six Sigma projects and implementing operational models.

In 2008, Dorflinger joined AXA Technology Services as a Global Services Regional Service Manager. Rémy later became a Lead Lean Navigator, where they coached project teams and implemented Lean principles. Dorflinger then moved on to work as a Lean Navigator in both the UK and France, participating in Lean projects and coaching teams in Lean behaviors and techniques.

In 2014, Dorflinger joined Krungthai-AXA Life Insurance PCL. as a Project Manager, where they worked until 2016. Rémy then joined AXA as an Account Manager, managing partnerships with operating companies and ensuring delivery according to commitments. In 2018, Dorflinger took on the role of Thailand Business Partner at AXA, where they developed and maintained relationships between the Asian Market Office and AXA entities in Thailand.

Currently, Dorflinger holds a position at Coherent as the Managing Director. In this role, they have overseen sales operations and played a key role in strategic planning and governance. From July 2023, they will take on the position of Head of Sales at Coherent.

Rémy Dorflinger completed a Master of Project Management degree at Western Carolina University from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Ingénieur (Engineering) with a focus on Project Management from Ecole supérieure des sciences et technologies de l'ingénieur de Nancy from 1998 to 2003. Rémy also pursued Information Technology Project Management courses during the academic year 2000-2001 at Linköping University. In terms of additional certifications, Rémy obtained the Coherent Spark Certified Business User certification from Coherent in July 2023, and they have several certifications related to Agile methods and leadership skills from LinkedIn, obtained in the year 2020.
