Charlie C has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering field since 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Software Engineer at Focus Media, where they were responsible for UI design and software development for a displaying system used in elevators. Charlie also completed a software engineer internship at HNZC Technology Co., Ltd. in 2011. From 2012 to 2015, Charlie C was a Software Engineer at KylinOS Information Technology Co., Ltd., where they were responsible for the specification, design, and development of software for the Kylin Operating System. In 2016, they worked as an Intern at Industry Connect Limited, where they used AngularJS in a front-end project in a Visual Studio (MVC framework) environment. Charlie also held part-time roles as an ICT Technician at 21st Century Electrical and an IT Support Technician at PINE HARBOUR Boat Painters. Charlie C's most recent role was as a Senior Software Engineer at Quantifi Photonics, where they were responsible for design and development of software programs and device drivers for Linux and Windows operating systems.

Charlie C has a diverse educational background. Charlie obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology from Whitireia Community Polytechnic in New Zealand between 2015 and 2016. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Computer Science from Chengdu University of Information Technology between 2009 and 2012.
