Allan Ashmead

Allan Ashmead has extensive work experience in the technology industry. From 2008 onwards, they held various leadership positions at Coherent Inc., including Senior Vice President of Microelectronics NA, Vice President and General Manager of SLS Santa Clara Business Units, Vice President and General Manager of RLS, IOS, and Director of Strategic Marketing. Prior to that, they worked at JDSU as the Director of WW Laser Sales from 2004 to 2007. Before that, they served as the Vice President of Business Development at iolon from 2001 to 2003. Overall, Allan has a strong background in strategic marketing, business development, and sales, with a focus on the laser industry.

Allan Ashmead completed their BSc (Hons) in Applied Physics from the University of Strathclyde from 1975 to 1979. Allan later pursued an MSc in Laser Physics from Heriot-Watt University from 1981 to 1982.
