Hitoshi Kakihara

Hitoshi Kakihara has held various positions in the industrial sector since 1998. Hitoshi began their career as Sales Manager at The Timken Company, where they managed global Automotive Construction & Mining Rail Steel projects, and Japan domestic Aerospace Defense Automotive Construction & Mining Rail Steel process industry and distribution business. Hitoshi then moved on to become Industrial Group Leader at the same company, managing global projects and Japan domestic business of Timken's industrial business. In 2015, they became Sales Director at Kennametal. In 2016, they were Senior Account Manager at Lumentum, maintaining current business and developing new business working through next generation 3 fiber laser engine modules. In 2018, they became New Business Development at Abicor Binzel, developing new business of Scansonic special laser optics - Wire feeding laser brazing / welding head : ALO3, and Remote laser welding head : RLW-A, RLW-S, RLW-P, and LPH-2D. Finally, in 2021, they were appointed Country Manager at Coherix.

Hitoshi Kakihara obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Musashi Institute of Technology between 1983 and 1987.
