Jie Mei

Jie Mei has been working as an Application Engineer at Coherix Inc. since 2017. Prior to that, they were an Intern at American Bureau of Shipping from 2015-2017, where they reviewed and recalculated the structure analysis report of mobile offshore drilling units according to ABS rules and guides, reviewed the technical design drawings of mobile offshore drilling units (modu), and reviewed the finite element analysis (Abaqus) report of main structures on a modu.

Jie Mei attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jie then attended the University of Michigan from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Jie continued their studies at the University of Michigan from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering.
