Jordan Engbers

Jordan Engbers is the current CEO and Co-Founder at Cohesic. Prior to this, they were the data scientist for the Clinical Research Unit, where they worked with clinical researchers to develop and deliver data products related to healthcare practices and outcomes. They also provided technical sales for their clients. Their areas of responsibility included training analysts and developers, leading engineering teams using agile development practices, performing large-scale analytics using Hadoop-based technology (Hortonworks Data Platform), designing software solutions for researchers and out-patient clinics, administering and maintaining cloud-based solutions (AWS, OpenStack), writing grant proposals, and preparing manuscripts. They have also been the owner and chief architect of Synfire Software and a graduate student - PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Calgary.

Jordan Engbers is currently a PhD candidate in the Neuroscience program at the University of Calgary. Jordan completed their Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) in Bioinformatics from the University of Calgary.
