Derek Byrd

Derek Byrd is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in systems and infrastructure management. Currently serving as a Sales Engineer at Cohesity since January 2018, Derek has previously held roles including Infrastructure Manager at Sound Physicians and Systems Manager at Acadia Healthcare. With a career that began as a Systems Administrator at Meridian Bioscience, Derek has accumulated over a decade of expertise in various IT capacities, including Network Engineer at Universal Lighting Technologies and Systems Administrator at Cogent HMG. Derek holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Freed-Hardeman University.
