Tim Rice

Tim Rice is the co-founder and CEO of Coin Metrics, a cryptocurrency data and analytics firm. Prior to Coin Metrics, Tim was the head of rights management technology at Refinitiv, and before that, they spent 15 years at Thomson Reuters in various roles, including asset owner for the non-streaming Enterprise Feeds business. Tim began their career in the financial industry as a technical director at Bridge Information Systems in 1991. Tim has also served as VP of engineering at Tricord and VP of product development at the Arizona Stock Exchange. Tim has been an industry manager for Wall Street and finance at Cray Research since 1984.

During their undergraduate studies, Tim Rice majored in computer science and economics at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Tim then went on to earn their MBA in investment finance from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.
