Owen Hobbs

Owen Hobbs has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Senior Product Manager & Lead Trader at CoinAlpha (hummingbot.io). Owen co-leads the Market Making division, scaled the department from scratch, and focuses on strategy development, market performance, and internal UI/UX. Owen also worked as a Senior Solutions Consultant, providing market-making solutions and consultation services for token issuers and trading-related firms, improving trading performance and execution prices. Prior to that, they served as a Project Manager, leading the successful development of a TradingView integration add-on package for Hummingbot.io.

Before joining CoinAlpha, Owen was a Senior Project Coordinator and Construction Project Coordinator at Dynasty Building Solutions. As a Senior Project Coordinator, they directed a team of project coordinators, developed sophisticated tools, and contributed to the commission program's development. As a Construction Project Coordinator, they reviewed insurance coverage, managed multiple projects, and generated detailed reports using measurement software.

Owen also worked as a Contractor at Country Craft Design, where they designed and completed residential projects, generated project leads, and showcased their work on social media platforms. Additionally, they served as a Field Manager at Pulte Group, Inc., guiding customers through the build process, managing trades and materials, and achieving company goals.

Lastly, Owen worked as a Revit Technician at Bowling Green State University.

Owen Hobbs obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Project Management from Bowling Green State University, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they attended The Ohio State University from 2010 to 2012, focusing on architecture but without completing a degree. In terms of additional certifications, Owen completed the "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" program at Google in July 2021. Owen also obtained the "30-Hour Construction Safety and Health" certification from OSHAcademy Safety and Health Training in 2016.
