Caroline Tarnok is a seasoned financial risk professional with extensive experience in credit and market risk management. Currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Financial Risk at Coinbase since September 2019, Caroline oversees global credit, market, and payments fraud risk. Previously at Goldman Sachs from July 2002 to August 2019, Caroline held various senior roles including Vice President of Credit Risk and Head of Prime Services credit risk in the Americas, alongside leading credit risk management for broker-dealers during the 2008 financial crisis. Caroline holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Psychology from Dartmouth College.
