Gerasimos Dimitropoulos

Gerasimos Dimitropoulos, CFE, is an experienced professional in forensic services and fraud detection. Currently serving as an International Investigations Associate at Coinbase since October 2025, Gerasimos previously held the position of Senior Consultant in Forensic Services at BDO Luxembourg from April 2023 to October 2025, where investigations into non-compliance and misconduct were conducted. Earlier experience includes a role as a Fraud Detection Agent at Etraveli Group, where over 150 suspicious transactions were resolved daily through advanced fraud-detection tools. Gerasimos holds a Master's degree in Forensic Accounting from the University of Portsmouth and a Bachelor's degree in Economic and Regional Development from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.
