Josh Cherry

Josh Cherry currently serves as Co-Head of Data Science at Coinbase, overseeing key areas including growth, retail trading, and international payments since January 2022. Prior roles at Coinbase included Head of Consumer Data Science and Head of Ecosystem Data Science. Before joining Coinbase, Josh held the position of Senior Director of Data Science at Lyft from 2015 to 2021, where responsibilities encompassed managing data science teams across various sectors such as fraud and safety. Earlier career experiences include roles at Google as an Associate through Manager, and consulting positions at Oliver Wyman and Analysis Group. Josh holds a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, an MSc from The London School of Economics, and has completed coursework in Computer Science at Stanford University.
