Kayla Izenman

Kayla Izenman is a Senior Researcher specializing in Ecosystems and On-chain analysis at Coinbase, with prior experience as both a Researcher and Associate Fellow at the Centre for Financial Crime and Security Studies (CFCS) at RUSI. At CFCS, Kayla led research on DPRK cybercrime and cryptocurrency sanctions evasion while serving as a Research Fellow. Previous roles include Research Analyst and International Trade Intern at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Student Ambassador at The Economist, and an intern focused on sanctions and illicit finance at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies. Kayla also gained experience as a Diplomatic Security Intern at the U.S. Department of State and as a Dean's Ambassador at Boston University's Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies. Kayla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Boston University.
