Marcel Ohngemach

Marcel Ohngemach currently serves as a Product Manager for Institutional Staking at Coinbase since November 2022. Prior to this role, Marcel held the position of Strategy Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) from 2017 to 2022, focusing on New Mobility, Clean Tech, and Organizational Transformations across Europe, Asia, and Africa. Marcel's experience also includes a brief tenure in 2021 with Gorillas, participating in the US launch and managing operations for dark stores in New York City, as well as serving as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Picus Capital, where the focus was on real-world asset tokenization and Fintech in Latin America. Academically, Marcel earned an MBA from Harvard Business School between 2020 and 2022 and holds a degree from the University of Mannheim with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Business & Economics. Marcel also completed a semester abroad at National Chiao Tung University studying Statistics and Differential Equations and graduated with an Abitur from Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium Stuttgart in 2012.
