Walter Sun

Walter Sun is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in product strategy and operations within the technology sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Strategy & Operations for Prisma Cloud at Palo Alto Networks since February 2021, Walter previously held the role of Vice President of Business Operations at Genesys, where strategic allocation of R&D resources was a key focus. Earlier in the career, Walter was a Partner in Management Consulting at PwC, specializing in assisting technology organizations with disruption challenges, and also served as Principal Consultant at PRTM Management Consulting, which was later acquired by PwC. Walter's earlier roles include Director of Strategic Marketing at PalmSource, Product Manager at Transmeta Corporation, and various software engineering positions at LuxSonor Semiconductors, Pixera Corporation, and Sigma Designs. Walter holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from The University of Western Australia.
