Michael Brown

Michael Brown possesses extensive experience in infrastructure security and engineering, currently serving in the Infrastructure Security role at Coinbase since March 2019. Prior to this position, Michael held the title of Senior Security Engineer at Sony from May 2017 to March 2019, where responsibilities included designing enterprise security architecture and advising on new systems and products. Earlier in the career, Michael was the Director of Information Systems at Community Support Services, Inc., focusing on upgrading business operations and implementing security controls to enhance performance and stability. Additionally, Michael led legal initiatives in a General Counsel capacity, managing governance, risk management, and compliance activities. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Mary's College of Maryland.
