Nir Steinherz

Nir Steinherz is an experienced product and security professional with a robust background in digital banking and identity management. Currently serving as Director of Product at Coinbase since January 2022, Steinherz previously held the position of VP Strategy & Product at Unbound Security. During a notable tenure at Citi from 2015 to 2020, Steinherz led secure digital banking initiatives as Senior Vice President at the Citi Security Innovation Center, focusing on identity, mobile security, cryptography, and fraud. Earlier experiences include co-founding Starmed Israel, managing professional services at SECOZ, and founding Authentee Ltd., a security start-up. Steinherz holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, obtained in 1995.
