Yumeng Yao

Yumeng Yao is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading software development teams across various prestigious companies. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer-Tech Lead at Coinbase since December 2014, Yumeng Yao has successfully led the creation of a new Fundraising product utilizing AWS technologies and programming languages such as Go and MongoDB. Prior to this role, Yumeng Yao was a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Medtronic, focusing on surgical navigation platform development using modern C++ on Linux, and played a key role in releasing the AutoGuide firmware. At IBM, Yumeng Yao held the position of Senior Staff Software Engineer, leading a team responsible for developing the SMIS provider for IBM's cloud storage solutions.
