Helene Braun

Helene Braun has a diverse work experience in journalism and media. Helene began their career as an Editorial Intern at Thomas Schneider Film in 2011. Helene then interned as a Newsletter Intern at Tchibo from August 2019 to July 2020. In 2021, Helene joined CoinDesk as a Features and Opinion Intern, and later became a Markets Intern. Currently, they hold the position of U.S. Markets Reporter and Lead Economics Correspondent at CoinDesk. In 2022, Helene worked as a Freelance Writer at Prof G Media, contributing to the Prof G Markets podcast and summarizing news headlines in business and finance.

Helene Braun obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics & American/English studies from the University of Hamburg in 2019. In 2017, they also studied Linguistics and Sociolinguistics as a visiting student at New York University. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's degree in Business and Economic Reporting at New York University. In 2018, Helene obtained an IELTS Band score of 8/9 from IELTS USA.
