Sheereen Khan

Sheereen Khan has extensive work experience in risk management and compliance. Sheereen currently serves as the Principal Consultant at Accelerated Risk Management Solutions Inc, where they have been employed since 2020. In 2022, they joined CoinSmart as the Global Chief Compliance Officer, responsible for designing and implementing the Global Compliance Program. Prior to this, they were the Chief Compliance Officer at Coinberry from 2021 to 2022, leading the firm in obtaining registration for all provinces and territories in Canada. Sheereen worked at Laurentian Bank from 2017 to 2020 as the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, where they designed a compliance strategy for the banking and wealth management entities. Before that, they held the position of Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 2012 to 2017, establishing a Canada-wide compliance program. Sheereen also has experience at BMO Financial Group, where they served as the Director of Risk & Compliance, Internal Controls from 2004 to 2011, and at EY as a Partner in Risk and Compliance Advisory and as a Forensics Auditor in Investigation Services.
