Rodney Chinn

Rodney Chinn is a seasoned Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design and development across various industries. Currently employed at Coinstar since December 2019, Rodney oversees mechanical engineering responsibilities. Prior to this role, Rodney worked at Honeywell from August 2003 to October 2019, managing mechanical design projects, product specifications, and vendor relationships while utilizing Creo CAD tools. Additional experience includes a contract position at Calypso Medical Technologies, where Rodney contributed to the design and development of the Calypso® 4D Localization System, employing SolidWorks for mechanical design. Rodney’s earlier career includes significant positions at SeaMED Corporation and Spacelabs Healthcare, focusing on the development of medical and commercial products through innovative mechanical design and rigorous documentation practices.
