Jim Paterson

Jim Paterson has a wealth of experience in the software engineering field. Jim has worked for CoinZoom since 2019 as a Principal Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked for FarmIQ Systems Ltd as a Solutions Architect/Lead Developer from 2017 to 2019. Jim also worked for Landcorp Farming Ltd as a Software Developer from 2017 to 2019. From 2012 to 2017, they worked for Fronde as a Solutions Architect. From 2010 to 2012, they worked for MetService as a Software Developer and Research Scientist. From 2008 to 2010, they worked for Goldman Sachs as a Software Developer. Jim also worked for Fronde from 2010 to 2012 as a Solution Architect. From 2006 to 2008, they worked for CheckFree as a Developer. From 2003 to 2006, they worked for the University of Edinburgh, researching Systems Administration. Finally, from 1997 to 2003, they worked for Synergy International as a Developer, Team Leader, and Architect.

Jim Paterson completed a BSc Hon 1st Class in Physics from the University of Glasgow between 1981 and 1985. Jim then went on to pursue a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the same university, completing it in 1989. In 2010, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Mathematics from Victoria University of Wellington.
