Çolakoğlu Makina went into operation in 1980 under the name of Çolakoğlu Engineering Machinery Industry Trade Ltd. founded by Mechanical Engineer M.Sc  Halil Çelikarslan.
Çolakoğlu Makina aimed to operate in two branches as the manufacturing of process equipment of the tea factories and the production of cranes. A few years after its establishment, welded steel structure manufacturing and assembly activities have gained an increasing momentum. Çolakoğlu Makina signed its first industrial plant agreement in the mining sector in 1994 with Çayeli Copper Enterprises Inc., which was a Canadian company in that year. Company continued to contribute to the mining sector by working with the institutions of Turkey and the world's leading mining industry in the following years.
At the beginning of 2000s, Çolakoğlu Makina has undertaken its first overseas contracting project with Finnish company of Outotec O.Y and has successfully completed this project.
As an ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certified company, Çolakoğlu Makina is committed to high quality standards aimed at excellence through a firm belief in "continuous improvement" and "teamwork".

With its engineering and manufacturing experience, Çolakoğlu Makina carries out all the mechanical design, material design, material supply and testing works for the special process equipment which can be used in the mining sector and many other industrial fields.
