Saul Tamu has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Saul most recently worked at Colas Construction as a Project Superintendent starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were employed by DA Bentley as a General Superintendent from August 2021 to May 2022. From February 2018 to August 2021, they served as a Lead at M & C Construction. Other positions include Construction Superintendent at Deform NW from August 2019 to December 2019, Superintendent at Craftsman Contracting, LLC from May 2017 to February 2018, and Foreman / Journeyman / Acoustic Ceiling specialist at the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America from April 2014 to May 2017. Saul's earliest work experience was as a foreman at Emunah Construction from November 2007 to March 2014.
Saul Tamu completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Construction Management from Portland Community College. This educational attainment took place from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their degree, Saul has obtained various certifications related to construction management and safety. Saul received Procore Certified: Project Manager at GC (Preconstruction) certification from Procore Technologies in October 2022. In September 2022, they acquired certifications in Construction Industry: Safety, Construction Management: Safety & Health, and Electrical Systems: Panel Boards, Frequency Drives, and Transformers, all from LinkedIn. Prior to that, in August 2022, they earned the certification of Construction Management: Reading Civil Construction Drawings from LinkedIn. Another notable certification Saul received was Procore Certified: Superintendent from Procore Technologies, also granted in August 2022.
