Katie J. Thibodeau

Katie J. Thibodeau is the AVP for College Advancement at Colby College. Prior to their current role, Katie served as the Leadership Gift Officer at Colby College from May 2019 to January 2022. Katie has also held various positions at Colby College including Associate Director of Admissions for Partnerships and External Relations, Associate Director of Admissions for Alumni and Visitor Relations, Senior Assistant Director of Admissions, and Assistant Director of Admissions. Katie began their career as an ESL/English Teacher at Providence Public Schools from July 2012 to June 2014. Katie then became the Manager of Operations at Teach For America from July 2014 to June 2015 and later served as the Induction Coordinator from May 2013 to June 2013. Katie was a 2012 Corps Member with Teach For America from June 2012 to June 2014.

Katie J. Thibodeau holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Colby College, where they majored in Spanish and minored in Education. Katie also holds a Master of Education (MEd) from Rhode Island College in Education. Katie is certified by the Maine Department of Education in K-12 Spanish Teacher Certification and by the Rhode Island Department of Education in K-6 Elementary Teacher Certification.
