Benoît Laforêt

Benoît Laforêt has worked in the IT industry since 1998. Benoît began their career as a Technical Support & Junior Programmer for WORTHWARE SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL. In this role, they provided technical support and maintained and modified existing ERP software created in DataEase and Delphi. Benoît also created the Help documentation for the Delphi software version. In 1999, they became an Independent Consultant, providing web design services using WebDev 17, PHP, and Flash and Dreamweaver. Benoît also created an RFID inventory management software for the Palm Pilot.

In 2013, Benoît Laforêt became the IT Director for Conequipos ING. LTDA. Benoît then returned to Independent Consultancy in 2017, creating and maintaining single page applications with Angular 6, Bootstrap 4, Node.js, Express, and MySql DB. In 2019, they became a Full-Stack Developer for Charger Industries, developing a web platform for corporate and customer use.

Currently, Benoît Laforêt is a Software Manager for Cold Bore Technology. In this role, they plan, directs, and coordinates the web development team. Benoît is responsible for software conception, maintenance, and re-engineering, using Angular, NodeJS, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, and AWS.

Benoît Laforêt has two entries in their education history. In 2016, they completed a SAP - C_TAW12_731 Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.31 degree in IT from SAP ABAP Programming. Benoît also has an Attestation of College Studies - Attestation d’Étude Collégia degree in ANALYST PROGRAMMER - PROGRAMMEUR ANALYSTE from Delta College - Montreal, which they completed in 1997-1998. Additionally, they hold a certification in SAP - C_TAW12_731 Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.31 from SAP.
