Prajankya Sonar

Prajankya Sonar has been working in the field of robotics software engineering since 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Robotics Software Engineer and Research Intern at RIG.solutions. In 2017, they were a Research Assistant at K.L.E. Technological University. In 2020, they were a Software Engineering Intern at SparkCharge, where they designed and pre-production tested internal tools and developed embedded touchscreen devices. Prajankya is currently a Robotics Software Engineering Lead, Senior Robotics Software Engineer, and Robotics Software Engineer, Runtime Systems at Ambi Robotics, where they manage an engineering team of 30, develops and deploys warehouse robots, and enhances multi-robot and decentralized/distributed control systems.

Prajankya Sonar obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Automation and Robotics Engineering from B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology between 2013 and 2017. In October 2007, Sonar received an All India 18th Rank in the National Cyber Olympiad from Science Olympiad Foundation - India. Sonar is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Robotics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which began in 2019 and is expected to end in 2021.
