Roman Auriti

Roman Auriti has worked in the field of data science since 2012. In that time, they have held various roles, including GIS Co-op at Teck Resources Limited (2012), Geomatics Co-op at Suncor Energy (2014), Database Analyst at Trimble Oil & Gas Services (2015-2020), and Senior Data Analyst at Symend (2020-2021). At Trimble Oil & Gas Services, Roman Auriti queried, transformed, loaded, and engineered spatial data for a variety of analyses. Roman also loaded gigabytes of spatial data between databases and transformed it into analytical insights using off-the-shelf tools like PostGIS, Dask, Keras, and Scikit-Learn to mine intelligence from the data warehouse. Currently, Roman Auriti is a Data Science Developer at Cold Bore Technology.

Roman Auriti obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geography from the University of Calgary between 2008 and 2014. Roman then obtained a Deep Learning Nanodegree from Udacity in August of 2019. Finally, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021.
