Laura Macías currently serves as the Primary School Principal at Puebla American School Foundation, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this, Laura held various roles at Fundación Colegio Americano de Puebla from August 2007 to July 2021, including Head of English Department and Maestra de Inglés for the International Baccalaureate Programme and AP College Board Diploma, as well as serving as an advisor for the Modelo de Naciones Unidas. Laura is pursuing a Doctorate in Hispano-American Literature at Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, following a Bachelor's degree in English Letters with a focus on Literary Criticism from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (1994-1998) and a Master's degree in Theory and Criticism of Latin American Literature from Universidad de las Américas Puebla (2008-2010).
