Jerson Reyes

Jerson Reyes, Ph.D., serves as the Head of the Department of Information, Energy Innovation and Institutional Affairs at the Comisión Nacional de Energía since October 2022. With extensive experience as a Consultant in Energy Planning Strategy at the International Atomic Energy Agency and previously as a Counterpart Project Manager, Jerson has been involved in numerous national and regional projects related to energy planning and policy. Additionally, Jerson holds a professorship in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and has significant contributions as the Head Coordinator of the Energy Development Equitable and Sustainable Committee at the Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile. With a solid educational background, including a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Concepción and a Diploma in Regulation, Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Jerson's expertise spans across various domains in energy and engineering.
