Jerson Reyes, Ph.D., serves as the Head of the Department of Information, Energy Innovation and Institutional Affairs at the Comisión Nacional de Energía since October 2022. With extensive experience as a Consultant in Energy Planning Strategy at the International Atomic Energy Agency and previously as a Counterpart Project Manager, Jerson has been involved in numerous national and regional projects related to energy planning and policy. Additionally, Jerson holds a professorship in the Electrical Engineering Department at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and has significant contributions as the Head Coordinator of the Energy Development Equitable and Sustainable Committee at the Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile. With a solid educational background, including a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidad de Concepción and a Diploma in Regulation, Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Jerson's expertise spans across various domains in energy and engineering.

El Colegio de Ingenieros de Chile A.G. es una asociación gremial que promueve el perfeccionamiento profesional, científico y tecnológico de sus miembros. Como Institución gremial, queremos contribuir al desarrollo del país y a nuestra sociedad en materia de ingeniería, impulsando y participando en ámbitos económicos, sociales y de medioambiente. Ser un gremio que apoya a sus miembros, fomentando la innovación, el conocimiento, la aplicación técnica y ética de la ingeniería. El Colegio de Ingenieros cuenta con una estructura Administrativa encabezada por una Gerencia General (Andrea Rojas) cuya dependencia directa es de la Presidencia. El Consejo Nacional consta de 23 miembros elegidos . Son parte del Comité Ejecutivo un Presidente, Primer Vicepresidente, Segundo Vicepresidente, Secretario General y Tesorero.
