Gabriel Monroy

Gabriel Monroy has a wealth of experience in the technology and business fields. Gabriel began their career in 2008 as a Consultant at IBM, where they were responsible for designing and constructing ETL processes for BI solutions using IBM DataStage, as well as ensuring data quality and management systems for a Venezuelan financial institution. In 2010, they were promoted to Senior Technical Leader at IBM. In 2015, they co-founded and became the CEO of virtualpymes.com, a platform designed for the country's accounting and administrative community. It provided cloud-based tools and low-cost online training. In 2017, they co-founded and became the CEO of farmapet.com.ve, an e-commerce platform for pet products and services. Finally, in 2018, they co-founded and became the CEO of Colektia.

Gabriel Monroy graduated from the Universidad Nacional Experimental Politécnica 'Antonio José de Sucre' in 2009 with a degree in Ingeniería de sistemas. In March 2018, they obtained a certification in Inbound Marketing from HubSpot Academy.
