Asanga Wickramasinghe

Asanga Wickramasinghe holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Adelaide, where research focused on developing real-time, non-invasive methods for recognizing high-risk events such as falls among older individuals. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Coles Group since March 2022, Asanga has extensive experience in data science, having previously worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Fivecast and as a Data Scientist at Data to Decisions CRC. Prior roles include Software Engineer at Cambio Software Engineering and Lecturer for a Database Management Systems course at the Ministry of Higher Education in Sri Lanka. Asanga's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology from the University of Colombo.
